BlueMatrix Supports Local Racing

Company Happenings

Earlier this month, BlueMatrix headed to the racetrack to sponsor the North Carolina Quarter Midget Association's (NCQMA) Back to School BASH.

It was an exciting day at the track with something for everyone. Games, giveaways, and even a water balloon fight took place for the families, while more than 80 cars across 12 classes competed for a BlueMatrix trophy.

This is the second year we've supported the youth racing organization by sponsoring an event, and it is all thanks to Steve McNally, the head of our product department. Steve's son, Logan, has been an avid racer in the N. Carolina community since they moved to the area last year.

Established in 2004, NCQMA serves the local area and surrounding states as a place people can come to spectate or learn and compete in the sport. The club brings together more than 75 families who share a love for racing and its atmosphere. Many National Champions in the USAC .25 division have come from this local track.

Colt James, the president of the club, shared his appreciation, "We are so lucky to have some of the best members. The McNally’s are certainly one of those families, being able to do this small gesture to show our club some love and support was an honor." The BlueMatrix race weekend was held in memory of the McNally's late son, Eion, bringing the families together in more ways than one.

Community has always been a core value of the BlueMatrix brand – both creating it within our industry and supporting those that we are a part of. It is an honor to give back to our new locality in N. Carolina, especially in a way that is meaningful to one of our own team members.
