BlueMatrix Joins The Quoted Companies Alliance

Company News

BlueMatrix is now an advisory member in the Quoted Companies Alliance (QCA), underscoring our commitment to fostering the interests of small and mid-sized quoted companies in the UK.

As a not-for-profit membership entity, the QCA plays a vital role in advocating for its members on various fronts, utilizing campaigns, surveys, and events to empower companies to navigate and maximize their potential in public markets.

The QCA advocates for the collective community of over 1000 small and mid-sized publicly traded businesses in the UK, along with the advisory firms that support them.

The QCA's collaborative approach extends to its Expert Groups, comprising representatives from advisory member firms and stakeholders across multiple sectors. These groups contribute in key areas such as Primary Markets, Secondary Markets, Corporate Governance, Financial Reporting, Legal, Tax, and Share Schemes, reinforcing the organization's dedication to providing valuable support to its members.

At the helm of the QCA is CEO James Ashton, leveraging his extensive background as a former press Editor at the London Evening Standard and The Sunday Times.

Notably, the QCA is instrumental in shaping corporate governance practices through the publication of the QCA Corporate Governance Code. Widely adopted by a significant majority of companies listed on the Alternative Investment Market, this code reflects the QCA's influence in shaping industry standards and best practices in the dynamic landscape of public markets.
