The BlueMatrix Roundtable Jumps the Pond

Company Announcements

BlueMatrix, the leading investment research software provider, is bringing its Research Roundtable to the European market. Taking place on December 2, 2015 in London, the conference will unite investment professionals from across the European market to discuss issues and trends facing the industry and the future of BlueMatrix’s offerings.

The headlining presentation will address the topic on everyone’s mind: “The Impact of MiFID II.” Industry experts will join together in a panel-style presentation to discuss potential outcomes of the pending legislation and how firms can prepare for the new regulatory landscape. Guest speakers include Robert Buller, Head of Account Management, Kepler Cheuvreux; Steve Kelly, Managing Director, Extel; Richard Metcalfe, Director of Regulatory Affairs, The Investment Association; and Nicholas Mather, Chief Executive, Trusted Sources.

A similar panel was featured at the New York Roundtable that was held in October. “It was the highlight of the day for most attendees,” says Simon Edwards, Head of Business Development at BlueMatrix and the panel’s moderator. “The topic is at the front of everyone’s mind and has received limited media coverage in the states. It is a much more prominent issue for the European market so we expect a passionate in-depth discussion.”

The 2015 London Research Roundtable also marks an official product launch for BlueMatrix. Attendees can get a first look at upcoming and newly available applications and technologies, as well as new features and tools that apply to current products.

The attendance at our New York Roundtable increases every year, yet many of our European clients are unable to make the trip, says Patricia Horotan, COO and Co-founder. “This event is designed to bring the industry together. We are thrilled to be finally bringing them a hands-on experience with BlueMatrix and addressing the industry’s concerns on their doorstep.”

BlueMatrix has been hosting its New York-based Research Roundtable for nine years. The event is designed to provide the U.S. financial research industry a forward-thinking platform for collaboration and discussion on both current trends and obstacles, and the evolution of BlueMatrix’s product to meet the demands of the industry landscape.
