At BlueMatrix, we come to work every day to equip investment professionals with the best tools to seamlessly author, distribute, and consume investment research. BlueMatrix provides solutions for clients ranging from leading international investment banks and wealth management firms to independent research boutiques.
BlueMatrix applications offer research productivity and compliance solutions for both the sell-side and the buy-side. Benefits include compliance oversight with administrative views of firm-wide contracts, profiles, entitlements and internal readership statistics.
We are the world’s largest publisher of investment research, and our range of applications is unmatched in the research industry.
A lot has happened since BlueMatrix was founded in 1999, but we remain driven by foundational tenets of transparency, neutrality, trust and accountability.
BlueMatrix was co-founded by technologists Patricia Horotan and Skye Hauptman, who continue to run the firm today. The two jointly worked for Millennium Partners, UBS, Merrill Lynch, CIBC and Goldman Sachs.
Headquartered in New York City with European operations based in London, and Romania, BlueMatrix has over 100 employees globally.
Patricia and Skye co-founded BlueMatrix in 1999, and together have grown the company to be the world’s largest publisher of investment research while maintaining the firm’s unique, client-centered approach of a startup. Together, they developed the core functionality of the BlueMatrix authoring and distribution capabilities and lead the firm’s product strategy, innovation and key corporate functions globally.
Skye and Patricia founded BlueMatrix to reach the consumer of investment research more efficiently, and from there turned their focus to streamlining research production. Since 1999, BlueMatrix has grown to offer the widest suite of research applications in the industry, but the focus on how research is consumed remains central.
Prior to founding BlueMatrix, Skye and Patricia worked in technology development positions at Goldman Sachs, Millennium Partners, CIBC Wood Gundy, UBS, and Merrill Lynch. Skye is based in London, where he oversees BlueMatrix’s European headquarters. Patricia is based in New York, where she oversees BlueMatrix’s world headquarters.
